Not all hacking is bad!
So your district doesn't allow you to shell out 3 grand for a smart board... you're totally out of luck, right? Not according to Johnny Lee a tech researcher. He's figured out a way to turn a $40 Wii remote a computer and some free software into some pretty amazing stuff... check out this YouTube video.

This is what happens when you have creative people in your district. It's great to use technology to teach.
ReplyDeleteThis is awesome. I am sure that school districts that weren't able to pass thier budgets this year would take full advantage of this, if someone promoted the idea to them. I like this a lot, because it shows that not all schools need to spend the crazy amount of money to help students become tech savvy.
